A Big Shoutout
That was so much fun. It takes a serious possy to make that stuff happen.We would like to thank all the folks who helped this thing look and feel great. Russ and his creative backing love. The Durango Cyclery gave us some serious love. Dave at Ska for the amazing passion and insite for the saturday night goodtime. Raequel and her housing hookups. There were many friendships being made with her connections. Helen and her magazine editing. We threw it out there and she made it make sense. The godfather of Durango racing, Ed and Patti Zink for letting us tap into their amazing race management infrastructure. Jay Huwang for the insurance help. The DEVO board for the discussions. Zia for giving us a nice full stomach throughout the weekend and at the volunteer party. Marc for letting us throw a sweet party on his development. Cliff an his crew for working on a sweet freeride course and throwing down on friday night. I was pleasantly shocked at the amount of activities and parties that made it a sweet five day awesome fest. not to mention all the ridiculously cool art and great beer that made it that much more complete. oh, and thanks for letting me sing. Time of my life!

Thanks to the Durango crew for throwing a great event, I’ve run events and know the amount of volunteer effort required, so each and every person that helped deserves a HUGE thanks, because it couldn’t have happened without you. First time in your fair city, and I plan to come back form more fun.

SSWC09 was one of our all-time favorite events we’ve traveled to. After driving 18 hours to get there, we were treated to an awesome weekend of great events, parties and people – that made all the driving worth-while. Our free (!!) host housing for the weekend was top notch (Thanks Jessica!) and made the trip possible for us. The attention to detail from T-shirts, to the magazine, to the blog leading up to race day (and afterwards) artwork and event stages was mind-blowing! Kick-ass event all the way around. Oh, and the race itself was about as fun and crazy as they get. Excellent, challenging course and great people volunteering their time for our race. And what other giant mtb race are you ever going to attend that has such a big, friendly bunch of people to race with (and laugh with) out on the course. Thanks Durango!

Loads upon loads of superfun. The Ridge was one of the absofrigginlute best sections of trail I have ever had the pleasure of riding!!!

you two are crazy. the entire year went by thinking of you two, climbing on and off the tandem over our course. we thought you were going to be pissed at us. Thanks for loving life and all that shit. we had a 16″ racer, unicycle, cruiser and tandem finish this course, no problem. That says a lot about the human spirit. Booya
